Located four blocks from the Mississippi River, in historic North East Minneapolis, a boxy blue house on the corner of third street and fourteenth avenue provides studios and shop facilities for the boat works and it's related creative projects.
It's a "one-boat-at-a-time" kind of place. Jack chooses to rescue sailboats with interesting or historic backgrounds and pleasing design lines.
These boats are usually abandoned or are no longer wanted by their owners, and have been left to the elements where they will eventually end up as firewood. An unkind fate!
Once rescued and restored, the boats are put up for sale at reasonable prices, or donated to a good cause so others can enjoy the pleasures of owning a classic sailing yacht.
